While whole industries shift to working remotely- and the landscape in which we do our work is changing every day- working together as a team has become more important than ever. Whether a team member is a more visible ‘visionary’ leader or one who thrives more in questioning, experimentation or operationalising, team members need to have their strengths recognized, communicated, and brought together to excel in this challenging time.

The Full Circle Leadership model provides a framework to make all leadership affinities visible and, therefore, facilitates self-knowledge, collaboration, and keeping the goal in sight.

Within a team and within ourselves, it's all a matter of balance of our strengths and challenges.

This one-time taster course will situate yourself in the Full Circle Leadership model, identifying what leadership affinities you lean towards as well as  and what is necessary to be complemented within a team or project,giving you insights about how to find balance in your team work as you navigate this challenging time.

Course Details

Online Facilitated Workshop

This is a Facilitated Online Workshop, so come prepared to participate! In this two-hour session you will discover eight types of leadership and their superpowers, as well as how to apply them in your team in the time of COVID19.

Through group discussions, an interactive quiz, and Q&A with the facilitators, you will be able to identify your leadership affinities and reflect on the current balance of your remote teams.

This session is an introduction to the Full Circle Leadership model. If you would like to learn more, we invite you to join our upcoming  intensive course for participants that are interested in diving into the model in their teams and projects.

Emma Buck

Emma  is a trainer, activist and collective organizing enthusiast based in the Southwest USA. They earned their MA in Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation with a focus on Experiential Learning, which they have used in impact evaluation and humanitarian aid efforts, from small non-profits to large government contractors, all over the world. They cofounded Shakesqueer Theater Collective bringing transformative theater to rural communities. They can often be found cuddling their cat, Kira, and talking about Star Wars.

Alícia Trepat

Alícia is a designer and facilitator of distributed leadership, community building and decentralised governance. In addition to practicing these in her own communities, she co-authored research on these topics with the Institute for the Future. Her work is focused on how self-organised teams and communities can be places for personal growth. In the past five years, she has been a catalyst for several social innovation organisations, from social start-ups, to a women network, to social movements.
